About the role

Join Origin’s Legal team and play a critical role supporting safety, regulatory and operational outcomes across our energy portfolio.

This role provides high quality legal advice across safety, regulatory compliance and incident response, supporting generation assets, gas operations and renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safety and regulatory legal advice across Origin’s operations
• Support projects across renewables, gas and energy infrastructure
• Support incident response, investigations, claims and litigation matters
• Advise on WHS, regulatory compliance and emerging regulatory change
• Partner closely with business units to deliver practical, commercial solutions
• Manage external legal providers to ensure quality and value for money

What will you bring?

• Australian qualified lawyer with 7+ years’ PQE
• Strong experience in safety, regulatory or operational legal environments
• Commercial, pragmatic adviser with strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Demonstrate experience in energy, infrastructure, renewables or resources advantageous
