About the role:

We’re looking for an experienced Business Account Manager to join our South East Queensland LPG Sales team. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role combines new business development with account management and customer retention, giving you ownership of growing and maintaining a portfolio of business customers across the region.

Your territory will broadly cover southern Brisbane through to the NSW border, as well as western and regional areas, with regional travel required as part of the role. You’ll spend time in the market building relationships, identifying new opportunities and working with existing customers to understand their needs and strengthen long-term partnerships.

While LPG will be the primary focus, you’ll also identify broader opportunities across Origin’s portfolio of products and services.

  • Manage and retain an existing portfolio of business customers across South East Queensland
  • Build strong customer relationships through regular face-to-face engagement and account management
  • Identify opportunities to grow customer value across LPG products and broader Origin services
  • Develop new opportunities through referrals, networking, marketing activity and market engagement
  • Manage pricing and commercial negotiations within agreed margin and business guidelines

What will you bring?

  • Experience in business development, account management or B2B sales
  • A proven ability to win new business while building and retaining strong customer relationships
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • A proactive approach to prospecting and identifying new sales opportunities
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer needs, pricing and profitability
  • Confidence working independently across a broad territory, including regional travel, while collaborating with internal teams
