THE ROLE

 

The Upstream Operator Contracts Team, within Asset Services is responsible for end-to-end Contract Management, including budget planning, cost analysis, reporting and materials coordination.  The Asset Contract Specialist will advise and support the effective management of contracts post-award to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, core processes and applicable legislative requirements.

The team have a 12 month secondment opportunity. 

 

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE

 

  • Post award management of the commercial aspects of contracts, ensuring all contracted services are provided in accordance with the contract conditions; and
  • Forming and maintaining influential relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing critical support and advice to Contract Owners and Sourcing Specialists.
  • Coordinate contract variations, payment claims and pricing negotiations and contract management
  • Maintain contract reporting including KPI and Social Responsibilities Targets are monitored and upheld
  • Ensure that all contractual matters are properly and effectively documented and implemented according to Core Processes and company standards

You’ll need to be enthusiastic, have the ability to work to plan, prioritise and deliver quality work with high levels of accuracy under pressure. With a customer focused attitude, you will be confident in your ability to liaise with external and internal stakeholders such as customers and vendors.

 

MORE ABOUT YOU

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of Post Award contract experience
  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in business, law, engineering or equivalent
  • Strong commercial background with demonstrated experience across contract management, compliance and governance systems and processes
  • Experience with SAP ERP system
  • Ability to facilitate workshops and planning sessions to determine key contract management strategies
  • Experience with process improvement and implementing change
