About the role
An opportunity to join Origin’s Corporate Communication team on a 12-month contract. In this role, your core purpose will be bringing Origin’s strategy, purpose and values to life through content and campaigns that inform, inspire and engage our people and stakeholders.
You will partner closely with a dynamic team of communication professionals and other stakeholders within Origin to deliver timely, well-crafted news and stories for delivery across multiple channels. With Australia’s leading retail energy brand, an engaged team and ready access to technology and creative tools, you will have everything you need to tell the compelling stories of an organisation at the heart of the energy transition, and passionate about sharing its benefits with Australian homes and businesses.
Your responsibilities will include:

Find and tell stories from across the organisation that support key storytelling pillars, and enhance our performance, culture, brand and reputation

Develop and execute creative storytelling concepts that support continued engagement with our audiences.

Support and execute integrated, multi-channel communication plans aligned to strategy and priorities.

Help deliver highly engaging corporate and CEO events with content development and project management support.

Contribute to channel and calendar management to ensure they’re maintained with timely and relevant news and content.

Support reporting and analytics to measure and continuously improve communication effectiveness.
What will you bring?
You will be a collaborative, proactive and accountable professional with creative thinking skills, a strong eye for compelling storytelling, and the organisation skills and resilience to manage competing priorities and deadlines. You will also have:

Demonstrated experience in communications or content production.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear, engaging storytelling style.

Creative thinking to translate complex messages into clear, engaging content.

Proficient with creative use of AI and other technologies to help advance our practice

Experience creating content that drives employee engagement.

Sound project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
