About the role:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to support the development of pricing strategies and risk decision-making within our Large Customer segment. This role is critical in managing wholesale contract repositories, ensuring accurate demand and financial forecasting, and optimizing Origin’s wholesale position. You will be integral to Origin’s Pricing Operations team, which handles bespoke pricing for gas and electricity across large, strategically valuable customer portfolios.

Please note this is a full time, fixed term contract for 4 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse portfolio risks for Large Customers to inform trading and pricing decisions.
• Identify and manage risks associated with Large Customer products.
• Maintain and update wholesale contract repositories (Moneta/GETS).
• Ensure pricing complies with the Commodity Risk Management System.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet service levels and optimize sales strategies.

What will you bring?

• Experience in a similar Analyst position ideally in Energy, Utilities or a similar industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including v-look ups
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for influencing stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve system/process issues.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and make decisions under pressure.
