About the role:
 

Australia’s energy markets are undergoing unprecedented change as the renewables transition accelerates. The Product/ Delivery Manager will drive the development and support of technology solutions used to manage Origin’s energy trading portfolio, ensuring the solutions in place today are fit for the energy markets of tomorrow. 

 

Why this role matters?

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of managing the delivery of business solutions, ensuring that they align with our strategic goals. Your responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Prioritisation: Work closely with business stakeholders to establish and refine priorities for delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic planning and maintaining a focus on achieving business outcomes. 
  • Product Management: Work with solution architects and business stakeholders to define the vision and roadmap for the technology underpinning Origin’s ETRM business processes. 
  • Technology Delivery: Lead cross-functional delivery squads composed of Functional Business Analysts, Software Engineers and Test Analysts to deliver a pipeline of functional and technical change that provides business value. 
  • Platform Management: Ensure operational stability of the technology environment is maintained and supported through appropriate prioritisation and delivery of support, maintenance and improvement activities. 
  • Leadership and Capability Management: Manage Functional and Test Analyst direct reports across various locations, overseeing their core capability in requirements, functional design, stakeholder management, test planning and execution. 

 

What will you bring?

You’re a confident and adaptable communicator, adept at managing stakeholders with multiple priorities, while thriving in a collaborative environment aligned with strategic goals. In addition, you should bring:

 

  • A solid track record leading technology delivery teams in an agile environment.
  • Working knowledge of Energy, Financial Markets or Commodities Trading.
  • First class stakeholder management skills, especially in managing conflicting stakeholder requirements.
  • Proven success in managing business analysis and functional design to deliver measurable business benefits.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a technology or related discipline.
