The Role

Reporting to the Head of Reward and Recognition this role's focus is on the development, enhancement and optimisation of Origin's remuneration, performance, Industrial Relations (IR) & Mergers &Acquisition (M&A) frameworks.

The role will work collaboratively to identify opportunities and analyse information, advise and support business decisions relating primarily to Origin's reward and recognition programs, leveraging efficiencies and linkages where appropriate with performance, IR & M&A, whilst ensuring the programs align with the drive for business performance and excellence.

The incumbent will work collaboratively across boundaries championing the new People &Culture (P&C) operating model, at the same time capable of strong personal contribution and self-start capability. The role requires key influencing skills and out of the box thinking.

Is This You?

You'll need to be a data fanatic, analytically focused and able to communicate with a wide range of key stakeholders.

It is essential that you have:

  • Relevant degree or degree equivalent or industry experience;
  • Deep technical reward and recognition experience, preferably gained from working for an ASX listed or Global organisations;
  • Good knowledge of current legislation that impacts reward and recognition including Superannuation Guarantee and Corps Act;
  • Strong influencing skills and an ability to work with all levels and types of management;
  • Ability to interpret complex data from multiple sources and to make concise and clear recommendations;
  • Merger Acquisition and Divestment experience is preferred; and
  • Provide specialist Centre of Expertise advice across a number of projects and to work in an agile manner.
