About the role:
You’ll be part of our Energy Sales Specialist team, where you’ll will be at the heart of everything we do - working with customers. You will proactively support new and existing Origin customers with sales activity including win-back, cross-sell, and move and acquisitions, ensuring utility and broadband needs for residential and SME customers are met.
This role works on a rotating roster between 7.30am – 6.30pm Monday – Friday. You must be available to work across these hours. Initial training, 4 weeks, which is held in office.
Key Responsibilites:
- Guide new and existing customers through the retention, acquisition and move journey, ensuring utility needs are met whilst delivering outrageously good customer experiences
- Having a clear focus on delivering and improving the customer experience, demonstrating real concern for the customer
- Identify and anticipate customer product needs through curious questioning and effectively resolving those needs through first contact
- Understand the product options available and how these can be used to resolve customer needs and/or issues
About You:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to talk to customers across multiple platforms including phone, email, social and others.
- Demonstrated ability to use sound commercial judgement to improve customer experiences, taking into consideration risk and regulatory frameworks and acting within delegation of authority
- Be a lateral thinker, thinking for themselves, their team, and the business
- Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills.
- Sales experience preferred but not essential
